Malco Marine Yellow Wool Medium Cutting Pad is a blended wool medium-cut pad for removing lighter sanding marks—catalog callout around 2000 grit and finer on fresh paint—before soft polish pads.

It gives marine techs a controlled middle step when full heavy cut would be overkill on gelcoat or refinished topsides.

Why detailers keep it on the cart

• Blended wool medium-cut compounding pad
• Catalog positioning: ~2000 grit and lighter sanding scratches on fresh paint
• Useful bridge between heavy cut and soft polish wool
• MDSC Style options: Double Sided or Single Sided
• Catalog size notes include ~8" × 1.5" double-sided and ~7.5" single-sided hook-and-loop

How to use

Install on a compatible backing plate with a medium compound/polish system and keep panels cool. Confirm Single vs Double Sided Style on this listing before ordering.

Pad note: Choose connection Style (Single or Double Sided) to fit your backing plate.
