Pro marine detailing supply
Rupes Polishers, Compounds, Pads
RUPES BigFoot polishers, pads and compounds are built to work as one system: LHR15 and LHR21 Mark V long-throw DAs, the LK 900E Mille gear-driven polisher, the LHR 19E rotary and iBrid cordless tools, with matched foam and wool pads and DA and rotary compounds. For gelcoat, the RUPES Marine line runs XC-100 Extra Cut for P800/P1000 sanding marks, XC-300 Fast Cut for P1200/P1500 and XF-500 Fine Polish to finish, then XP-700 or XP-900 protection.

Frequently asked questions
What order does the RUPES Marine system go in?
XC-100 Extra Cut removes P800/P1000 sanding marks on production and heavily oxidized gelcoat. XC-300 Fast Cut removes P1200/P1500 or finer marks. XF-500 Fine Polish is the final finishing step. Protect with XP-700 Nano Wax (up to 6 months) or XP-900 Polymer Spray Sealant (up to 3 months).
Which RUPES foam pad color do I need?
Blue Coarse is for mild-to-severe defect removal with DA Coarse compound. Yellow Fine removes defects while leaving high gloss, paired with DA Fine. White Ultrafine is the finest grade for ultra-high-gloss finishing on soft or haze-prone surfaces.
Which backing plate fits my RUPES polisher?
Use the 5" plate for the 15 mm LHR15 and the 6" plate for the 21 mm LHR21. The Precision Pro plates for Mark V and iBrid HLR follow the same rule: 5" for 15 mm machines, 6" for 21 mm. The LHR75/LHR75E mini takes the 3" plate, and the LK900E Mille has its own plate.
