For customers who already know Presta, this isn't a completely new product line. Malco Marine describes the transition as a new name and new look built around the same expertise and formulas that professionals have relied on.

The updated lineup features new product names aligned around specific uses, modernized labels and packaging, and a focus on making the products more accessible to detailers nationwide.

One example is Presta Marine HydroProtek Ceramic Coating, which is now Malco Marine HydroProtek Ceramic Spray — a new name and look while maintaining the same formula.

So if you see a product you recognize from Presta suddenly showing up in Malco Marine packaging, don't worry. You're looking at the next chapter of the same product legacy.

A Legacy That Goes Beyond Marine Detailing

While Malco Marine is a newer name, the company behind it has been developing professional products for decades.

Malco Products was founded in 1953 by Murray Glauberman and has grown into a fourth-generation family business serving the automotive, marine, recreational vehicle, and consumer markets.

Today, Malco Products operates three manufacturing facilities, employs more than 250 people, and serves customers in more than 70 countries. Malco Marine products are manufactured in the USA and are backed by that larger history of chemistry, manufacturing, and professional product development.

The marine side of the business has continued to focus on products made specifically for life on the water — helping professionals and boat owners clean, restore, and protect vessels from bow to stern.

Restore

For correction work, Malco Marine offers a dedicated lineup of compounds and polishes, including:

Once the surface has been restored, Malco Marine offers several ways to protect the finish.

HydroProtek Ceramic Spray provides a ceramic-based protection option, while ShieldPro UV Creme Wax and Nano Cleaner Wax offer additional options for maintaining gloss and protection.
