What grits does Mirka Abralon come in?
6", 5" and 3" Abralon foam grip discs come in 180, 360, 500, 1000, 2000 and 3000 grit; the 1.3" disc comes in 360, 500, 1000 and 2000. Abralon works on both smooth and profiled surfaces, including gelcoat.
Which Polarshine compound follows sanding?
Polarshine 45 is an extra-coarse, fast-cutting compound that removes sanding scratches from P600 and finer. Polarshine 10 is a medium-coarse compound designed to finish after sanding with Mirka abrasives and is suitable for all paint systems.
Do I need dust extraction with Mirka discs?
Mirka's multi-hole discs and DEROS sanders are built for dust-free sanding systems. The Mirka 1230 dust extractor is HEPA-certified with three layers of dust protection and works with Mirka electric and pneumatic tools, using fleece bags and a flat filter as service parts.
