Frequently asked questions
HDO, SDO or FORCE: which Lake Country foam do I need?
HDO pads use a multi-density layered foam built for long-stroke polishers. SDO pads use the same engineered foams without the dual layer and suit any DA with a center-vented backing plate. FORCE hybrid foams are small-cell, dense pads for forced-rotation machines, keeping more polish on the surface.
What's in the Lake Country Marine Master line?
8" double-sided white wool and blue/teal pads with a 5/8"-11 threaded arbor for rotary polishers, single-sided natural-blend and wool-blend cutting pads for heavy gelcoat correction, and white/teal CCS cutting and blue/teal CCS finishing foam for boats and RVs.
Which Lake Country backing plate sizes do you carry?
DA plates come in 125 mm (4-7/8") and 73 mm (2-7/8") GRIP EASY, plus a 148 mm (5-7/8") flex-edge plate for about 6" foam pads. For rotary there's a heat-resistant molded urethane flexible plate and a white extra-soft flexible-edge plate.
