Frequently asked questions
Which Airway wheel goes with which metal?
Orange and Yellow Airway wheels are typically for aluminum, Red and Pink are for stainless steel, and UBM and Flannel wheels are for a final finish on either aluminum or stainless.
What's the Renegade compound order on aluminum?
Start with T-88 Tripoli on the orange wheel to cut scratches and blemishes (not for stainless), then G-16 Green rouge on the yellow wheel for a clean shine. Blue rouge or the purple compound gives the show finish.
Renegade Red, Pro Red or EZ Red?
Red Show Shine is a liquid metal polish with polishing grains, cleaners and sealants for bright aluminum and stainless. Pro Red was developed with polishing pros for a more aggressive cut than Red. EZ Red is a sprayable polish for quick touch-ups on the go.
