I've always had a passion for offshore fishing. In Southwest Florida, it keeps us busy year-round planning trips into the Gulf of Mexico to chase big grouper and snapper, and I've fished the tournament scene since 2013. As a hobbyist, I discovered the craft of restoring gelcoat on older 18–20 ft center consoles: sanding, buffing, polishing, sealing and ongoing maintenance. When I went looking for a ceramic coating, I noticed there weren't many good options, so I saw an opportunity and took it. I started Marine Nano Shop, acquired Starke, and then founded Marine Detail Supply. I also have a finance degree from FGCU and worked with an RIA firm in Naples, where I learned many of the skills I use today building the MSTG family of businesses.
