I'm David Mingus, President of Marine Detail Supply Company. I bring over 30 years of combined experience from the hospitality, construction, and manufactured home industries, and I've built my career by turning customer trust into lasting business.
I started out running operations at Hammocks at Marathon in the Florida Keys, where I learned what real service takes. From there I moved into commercial construction as a project manager at Regional Construction Services, my father's company, handling budgets, crews, and deadlines that couldn't slip. Then I founded Regional Home Sales in Bryan, Texas, and grew it over ten years by delivering turnkey land and home packages, including modular construction.
I'm still an active Certified General Contractor in the state of Florida. In Texas, I was licensed as an industrialized builder, a manufactured home retailer, broker, and installer, a real estate agent, and a general lines insurance agent. I studied business and hospitality at Florida Gulf Coast University and did graduate work in construction management at Florida Atlantic University. But the titles I'm proudest of are husband, father, and coach. My two amazing children are my world, and our best days are spent outdoors, out on the boat, or with a line in the water.
Every industry I've worked in has taught me many things, but one has stayed consistent: put the customer first. Today I bring that same drive to the marine industry, leading sales and operations across Marine Detail Supply and our store network.
